Swardeston At War

Swardeston provided its fair share of young, and not so young, men to fight in both world wars. We have a record of all those who went off to join the conflict in WW1 thanks to the Roll Of Honour in the village church. There is no such definitive list for WW2 but simply a memorial to the four young men who lost their lives.

The accompanying pages detail the results of our research so far into the lives of those who fought and, in some cases, died for their country.
